Honiton Spinners is a bunch of enthusiasts who enjoy cycling and exploring the Devon countryside and welcomes riders of all abilities. Club evening rides will start again on Tuesdays from April 2026. Daytime rides continue to take place throughout the year.

There are usually two rides on Sundays, one for faster riders and one for more social riders, both with coffee stops offering the chance to chat and eat cake (or bacon butties). Social rides at a gentler pace also take place on Thursday Mornings (or, sometimes, Wednesdays depending on the weather) which are typically 50 km. E-bikes are welcome and no-one gets left behind or, hopefully, lost.

Please see the About Us section of the website to find out more about the club and how to join. Future rides are usually posted on the app Spond, which is available to all members. Once riders have joined the club, they will have access to Spond. The club is aware that some riders like to push the pace a little, so if you would like to find like-minded riders, please contact Rob via the contact page in the first instance here.

The committee plans to publish next year’s club calendar at the Awards/AGM in October, but in a sneak preview, events being planned include Robert’s Treasure Hunt, the Isle of Wight circuit, Simon’s Cotswold Tour, a weekend expedition to the New Forest for gravel and e-bikes, and then the Chair’s Choice sportive which we hope will be well-supported by club riders of all abilities. The committee is also planning a joint ride with a local Somerset club and there will be other rides on offer.

See you soon!
